1. WHAT MAKES EVOLUTION DIFFERENT

Evolution Dance Competition was designed to support team experiences, studio culture and positive performance environments.

​

We understand that group routines represent:

  • months of teamwork

  • collaboration between dancers and teachers

  • significant commitment from families

​

Our goal is to honour that effort with a well-run, respectful and inspiring event.

2. GROUP PERFORMANCES AT EVOLUTION​

​

Group sections at Evolution are run with:

  • structured scheduling

  • experienced backstage management

  • clear communication with studios

  • professional adjudication and feedback

​

We aim to minimise unnecessary stress so dancers can focus on performing together.

3. Age Groups & SECTIONS

​​

Groups are entered by age category and genre, with:

  • clearly defined age cut-offs

  • consistent rules applied across all entries

  • transparent programming

​

Some events may include:

  • Small Groups

  • Large Groups

  • Open Age sections

  • School or specialty group categories

​

Specific eligibility and section details are outlined in the Competitor Handbook and Terms & Conditions.

4. championships & special performances - singapore only​​

At select events, Evolution may offer:

  • Championship sections

  • Gala performances

  • Judge-selected or high-scoring group showcases

​

These opportunities are designed to:

  • celebrate excellence

  • recognise teamwork

  • provide memorable performance experiences

​

Participation in these elements is subject to eligibility and event-specific details.

5. OUR COMMITMENT TO STUDIO CULTURE

Evolution does not support:

  • negative behaviour

  • unsportsmanlike conduct

  • the solicitation of students from other studios

​

We work closely with studios to maintain a respectful environment where:

  • dancers feel safe

  • teachers feel supported

  • families feel welcome​​
