NATIONAL FINALS
7th-14th January 2026

National Finals Information:

• Performers must enter at least 2 x solo routines into National Finals to do EVO Elite and/or EVO Apprentice I.e, you cannot just enter EVO Elite and/or EVO Apprentice and no other sections

• If you received a BLACK sash at a Regional event or via our online video qualifier, then you are eligible to enter EVO Elite (in addition to your other routines)

• If you received a TEAL sash at a Regional event or via our online video qualifier, then you are eligible to enter EVO Apprentice (in addition to your other routines)

• EVO Elite and/or EVO Apprentice CAN be a repeat dance

• Soloists can enter an EXTRA 3 ROUTINES for National Finals. I.e., if you performed and qualified with 3 routines at regionals or via our online video qualifier, you can enter an extra 3 routines on top for National Finals that didn't qualify, or you didn't perform at regionals

• Duo/Trios can enter an EXTRA 3 routines into Finals in addition to the qualified routines from Regionals (ie 2 x Duo/Trios performed and qualified at Regionals, and now you can take 5 x Duo/Trios to Finals)

• Payment for 1 x routine is all you need to pay to secure entries, with final payment due by Sunday 2nd November 2025)

• In the event of a withdrawal from National Finals, there will be NO refunds offered as we finalise the prizes, etc at least 2 months prior to the event taking place (unlike Regionals)

• All EVO Elite 1st Place winners will be invited to perform a hand-over dance at National Finals the following year

• EVO Elite and/or EVO Apprentice 1st Place winners (from January 2025) can also perform in all sections at Regionals and National Finals, although are not eligible for EVO Elite and/or EVO Apprentice qualification for the 1 year immediately following the 1st Place win

• Age cut off for Finals will be as of 1st January 2025 (same as Regionals). For example, if you competed in the 6-7 Years at Regionals this year, then you will perform in that same age category at National Finals in January 2025

• Prices for National Finals January 2026 are as follows:

  • Solos - $100 each routine​

  • Duo/Trios - $115 each routine

  • Groups - $105 each routine

  • EVO Apprentice - $130 

  • EVO Elite - $140

  • Artistry Award - NEW AWARD - $25 each entry (Solos and Duos/Trio). More info below

  • Competitor Pass - $65 (compulsory per performer and is payable once only)

• Artistry Award - What is it and how does it work?

  • $25 per solo or duo entry (unlimited entries per performer). Enter for more chances to win!

  • This award celebrates true artistry - not just technical skill, but also personality, respect and the spirit of dance

  • Judges will assess based on performance quality, creativity, emotional connection and personality throughout the competition

  • Each performer who has entered the 'Artistry Award' will be scored out of 50 (per judge) and the highest scoring performer/s will be announced as the winner at the Grand Final 

  • Duo/Trio will receive a cash prize of $150 between them, based on the following age groups:

    • Junior (5&U, 6-7 Yrs 8-9 Yrs)

    • Intermediate (10-11 Yrs, 12-13 Yrs)

    • Senior (14-15 Yrs, 16-20 Yrs and 21&O)

  • Each soloist will receive a cash prize of $150 (1 for Novice and 1 for Open), based on the following age groups:

    • Petite (5&U and 6-7 Yrs)​

    • Junior (8-9 Yrs and 10-11 Yrs)

    • Intermediate (12-13 Yrs and 14-15 Yrs)

    • Senior (16-20 Yrs and 21&O)

• Please remember, door entry is free for the entire event. The only other cost payable is to the Grand Final on Wednesday 14th January 2026

• At National Finals, the sections will be broken down into the following age groups:

  • 5 & Under (same as Regionals)

  • 6 Years

  • 7 Years

  • 8 Years

  • 9 Years

  • 10 Years

  • 11 Years

  • 12 Years

  • 13 Years

  • 14 Years

  • 15 Years

  • 16-20 Years (same as Regionals)
